COLONOSCOPY
Scopie Connect
Luscii provides the tools for patient and professional to keep an eye on the recovery while checking vital signs and symptoms to signal deteriorations and intervene timely in case of need.
What is the aim of the program?
- Guidance for colonoscopy patients
- Well prepared and informed patients
- Time saved by efficient pre-operative intake
- Timely post-operative interventions
How does it work?
At the point of referral for a colonoscopy, patients become part of the inclusion process. After receiving detailed information about the colonoscopy and sedation, they provide informed consent through the app to proceed with the procedure.
During the preparation phase for the colonoscopy, patients receive timely and relevant information, particularly regarding intestinal preparation. The app allows them to report any complaints related to the intestinal preparation, and personalized advice is provided based on the nature and intensity of each complaint.
Post-colonoscopy, patients are requested to input various measurements for several days. This proactive approach aims to identify complications early on and provide information to patients about what can be considered 'normal' post-procedure complaints. Additionally, any complaints that arise weeks later are actively sought, and if necessary, followed up.
Patients are kept engaged in a 'silent' protocol, allowing for a swift transition back into the 'real' protocol if another colonoscopy is required in the future. This protocol is often tailored for patients undergoing routine colonoscopies every few years.

Patients arrive on the day of the colonoscopy with completely clean intestines, enabling the colonoscopy to be performed thoroughly and successfully in one go.

Good, fast guidance, but it's a bit much to have control questions every day for a week after the examination. Otherwise, very satisfied.
