PERITONEAL DIALYSIS
Peritoneal Dialysis
Luscii provides the tools for patient and professional to keep an eye on the recovery while checking vital signs and symptoms to signal deteriorations and intervene timely in case of need.
What is the aim of the program?
- Fewer outpatient clinic visits
- Serve the growing number of patients with the same number of nurses
- Replacing manual registration, including automatic calculation of (24-hour) ultrafiltration
- Timely awareness of deteriorations
How does it work?
With this program, vital signs, symptoms, and the ultrafiltration flow in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) or automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) are recorded. Patients can easily enter their blood pressure, weight, and either manual or machine-based dwell data, along with any additional manual dwell information. If needed, patients can also record symptoms, outflow problems, and questions related to their exit-side, including photos if necessary, and information about the clarity of their PD fluid.
The Luscii app automatically calculates the ultrafiltration and 24-hour ultrafiltration for patients, providing valuable insights into their treatment progress. This digital registration system offers a convenient and accurate way to monitor patient health and dialysis outcomes, making it easier for patients and healthcare professionals to work together to optimize treatment plans.
