PREGNANCY AND DIABETES
Pregnancy and diabetes
Luscii provides the tools for patient and professional to keep an eye on the recovery while checking vital signs and symptoms to signal deteriorations and intervene timely in case of need.
What is the aim of the program?
- Fewer outpatient clinic visits
- Timely interventions
- Serve more patients with the same number of nurses
- High patient experience
How does it work?
Patients with type 2 diabetes or gestational diabetes must maintain tight glucose control, which requires frequent glucose checks using finger sticks or sensors. By submitting glucose readings via the Luscii app, patients can share data accompanied by details on daily intake and insulin requirements. If glucose readings fall out of range, healthcare professionals can send messages with suggestions on how to manage the situation. If further guidance is needed, healthcare professionals can contact the patient directly. This approach provides a more streamlined and efficient way to manage glucose levels, allowing patients to receive personalized care while minimizing disruptions to their daily routines.

I am very happy with this app especially now in this corona time. I don't have to go to the hospital as much and I find that more comfortable at the moment.
