How does it work?

Valvular pathology is common in the field of cardiology. Patients are often followed up in outpatient settings due to stenotic or regurgitant valvular disease. Typically, these patients are scheduled for annual echocardiograms to assess the clinical progression of their condition. In order to provide a more accurate and timely assessment of the severity and symptomatology of the valvular disease, this program has been developed.

The primary objective of this program is to identify symptomatic patients at an early stage, allowing for the prompt initiation of appropriate treatment without unnecessary delays. Additionally, the program can also be utilized to monitor patients who have already undergone surgical interventions for valvular diseases.

At regular intervals, relevant symptoms and vital parameters, including heart rate and rhythm, are collected and documented. This comprehensive approach ensures that any changes in the patient's condition are promptly identified and appropriate interventions are initiated as necessary.
